BEIJING, Jan 23 (Reuters) - China needs no lessons about its Internet from the United States, the head of an online media association said through official media on Saturday after the United States rapped Beijing over information freedom.

A speech by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday showed a lack of respect for China, which cannot accept conditions on matters of "national security" or "social stability", said Beijing Association of Online Media Chairman Min Dahong.

There are some few countries worldwide, which are talking back to any 'moral advices' from USA, and why not?

USA/UK/EU want to control 'everything' worldwide, by creating 'international standards' which fits Western moral values only.

With China this does not work. It's not only about internet, there are various issues, which China is totally unwilling to take over from the West.

The funny point about the Chinese censorship of the internet is that most technical equipment is imported from the USA, like Cisco routers and firewalls.

Without hardware from USA, the Chinese internet censorship would be impossible.

And now the seller, USA, is complaining to the buyer, China about using their hi-tech hardware, especially firewalls to block various internet connections.
