I had my traditional wedding in Thailand and we had guest came over the house for foods and drinks, taking photo, singing etc. So pretty fun and enjoyable day.
You may want to buy a gift for the couple. Talk to your gf:-)

It will involve mostly drinking.
If they raise their glass, drink up.

As for the gift, give them money, it's generally what most guests will give as a wedding gift.

Eat, drink and make merry, join in the fun. If it's anything like Lao weddings you will enjoy yourself.
Money is always accepted as a gift. At Lao weddings there is an envelope handed out with the invitation in which you place money. This envelope is put into a box at the entrance to the reception.
