Holland Village

Just a short ten minute drive from Orchard Road is Holland village, incorporating Farrer Road and Mount Sinai Drive. The centre of activity is the Holland Road Shopping Centre and enjoys a kind of village atmosphere, which tends to draw some expatriates, who also like the mix of modern and traditional.

Bukit Timah (district 11)

Including Sixth Avenue, Coronation and Hill Crest, you will be very near the German, Dutch, French and Australian schools. You can also enjoy the Bukit Timah Nature Resort, with the Bukit Timah Saddle club just down the road. The nature reserve contributes to the high value of land in the area.

A fairly good range of condominium accommodation is on Shelford Road, the Watten Estate (mostly low rise) and Sixth Avenue, Coronation Road and Bukit Timah, including bungalows and many well healed Singaporeans tend to live in the area.
