Sandy Shelter is located in a quite cul de sac just off soi Chinakhet 2/46 in Lak Si district, a few hundred metres from North Park. The owners claim it is popular with airline pilots, thanks to it's proximity to Don Muang Airport and it's quiet location, ideal for those who are noise sensitive or sleep at unusual hours. Ironically, it's proximity to the airport means that you occasionally get low flying airliners flying overhead but it's really not so much of a problem.
The apartments are twice as expensive as other places locally available in this part of Bangkok but the standard of the rooms is pretty good. Daily cleaning is included, clean bedding twice per week and soap etc are provided. There is also free coffee and tea available to residents. High speed Internet is also included in the price.
The owners like to market the property as a 'superior community' and if you want a very quiet building with no noisy neighbors, this is the place to go. It is low density, with just 30 apartments in total... A good choice if you need a quiet place with good security, comprehensive service and attention.
