Vietnam Expat
The days of red tape for investors and tourists are all but gone in Vietnam. Recent years have seen seismic changes in Vietnam's economic landscape. The country is experiencing historic growth and a transformation into a dynamic economy, with increasing foreign investor interest and mushrooming tourism. Capitalism has taken a firm foothold.
Many people are overwhelmed by the natural beauty of Vietnam and it's cordial people. Almost three and a half thousand kilometres of coastline boast beautiful beaches and mountain scenery. In the cities, you'll still find the traditional Ao Dai dresses, conical hats and French colonial influences, yet this is giving way to trendy cafés, bars, and nightclubs.
Of course, this all means a growing expatriate community as investment grows and foreign expertise is absorbed. If you're one of those expatriates, or are considering becoming a Vietnam expat because of a new opportunity and have found this website in search of information, you can register for free in our forum community to share your experiences and learn from other expats.
